Medieval Events

 

A while back we, were lucky enough to be asked if we would like to attend a Medieval fair at Tatton Park in the summer. The only proviso was that we had an authentic tent to use as our stall and we had to go in medieval costume. This idea appealed to us as we already do a fair at Ludlow in November and have to wear costumes for that fair so our costumes were ready made.

Having purchase the tent we thought that we would try a few more medieval events to make sure that we got lots of use out of our new tent. (New toys - we always have to find excuses to play with them!) So with this in mind we booked a few shows for that year.

We have been doing these shows for several years now and have done well at some of the them and really enjoyed ourselves. They are not just your normal craft fair as they try to recreate periods in history with loads of re-enactors and living history encampments as well as the medieval market, which, of course, is where we come in.

Several of the shows that we do now are multi period events which are well worth going to whether you are a history buff or not, there is so much to see and do they are well worth a visit.
